This is going to be a busy week, filled with lessons, laughter, and some hard truths about your photography and your business. Charge your camera batteries, pack your favorite lenses and laptop, sharpen your pencils, and get ready to make a change...you will walk away from this week recharged and ready to take your market by storm.
Staying fresh and true to the passion that brought you to photography can be challenging as the realities and mundanities of running a photography business start to intrude. Join the Bebbs as they take you on a journey
that will allow you to fall in love with photography again, while learning how to be successful as a modern wedding photographer.
Some of the topics we’re going to cover are:
*Inspiration:* going hand in hand with your personal photographic style, inspiration is the key to long term success as an artist.
*Just Images? * Let’s talk about all the intangibles that contribute to your success and how to tie them back to the images you love to make.
*Marketing for your Business: * We’ll talk about why a website isn’t enough and what you can do to market on a budget. With the world moving faster and access becoming more immediate, do conventional marketing and advertising still work? What can you do, in your market, to stand out?
*The Light in Front of you:* let’s go outside and see how you can make stunning images in any lighting situation. We have two shooting sessions planned, including a night session with alternative light mixed with available light.
*Posing:* Never hear. “I look so fat” again. Learn how to work with your clients to maximize the positive. We’ll show you some of the ways we
minimize these complaints with our own imagery, and with live models.
*Finishing your images:* How much Photoshop is too much? We will take you through an image, from start to finish, and show you exactly how to maximize each image’s full potential without spending hours in photoshop. We’ll go one step further and show you how to use photoshop to create a recognizable and consistent product.
*Being YOU - the ultimate in creativity: *forget about following the crowd, stand up and do it your way, on your terms! Learn how to create unique products and marketing pieces that reflect your business, your style, and will have clients flocking to you.
*The Next Step: *There is a multimedia revolution taking place and too many of us are being left behind. We’ll share why we think these new technologies are so important and how you can use them to create something
outstanding for your clients.

Six months after photographing their first wedding, Steve & Jen became full time wedding photographers, quickly taking their local market by storm.
Quietly photographing over 50 weddings each year in Vancouver , Canada, no one was more surprised than them when they were thrust into the international spotlight in 2007 as the only Canadians named by American
PHOTO as one of the Top 10 Wedding Photographers in the World.
Already known for their fantastic imagery, the Bebbs soon developed a reputation as fantastic educators as well. Since 2007 they have educated thousands of photographers, either through their smaller workshops, or at national and international conventions.
They are still pursuing their dreams in Vancouver, Canada, albeit not as quietly, and with many more air miles to their credit. They are focussed on the most elusive of goals - achieving balance between their photography, their speaking commitments, and their family.
